Residents of FD Lofts live in one of the most unique neighborhoods in Detroit. They are yards away from the heart of Eastern Market, the six-block public market that has been feeding Detroit since 1891. Each Saturday, there are approximately 250 independent vendors selling a variety of fruits, vegetables, flowers, specialty foods and grass-fed meats. Even when the market closes, our residents still find plenty to do around Eastern Market. They eat breakfast at Zef's, grab pizza from Supino's, pick up wine from Cost Plus and shop for art at Art Effect Gallery. Our office tenants enjoy the neighborhood as well. If they are looking for a casual business lunch, Sala Thai is in our building. For a more formal business lunch, Roma Cafe is less than a block away. If they are looking for a great sandwich with friends, you will find them at Russell Street Deli. This is a neighborhood that is always active, and we have the space for you to work or play in the heart of it all.
